Though I have never had a near death experience, I am often drawn to stories of those who have. I have to think there is something to the stories people tell about the bright light and the tunnels. It may just be a trick of the eyes as the body is dying, but you can?t really know for sure until you die. This might be why stories of a near death experience might be so exciting and thought provoking. What happens when we die is something that no one on earth can know until they are truly gone.
The near death experience is the closest answer we may have while we are still alive. No matter what your religious preferences may be, you have an idea in your head of what you think will happen once you draw your final breath.
