Do you attend church every Sunday like a good Christian should? This question always makes me laugh. For some bizarre and unknown reason it turns out that most sinners I know are the ones who go to church on a regular basis. Is this absurd or what? I call them a bunch of hypocrites. Actually maybe they are going to church every Sunday in order to repent. That's a theory. Regardless, I've said it before and I'll say it again, attending church does not make you a good person. However, treating others with kindness and respect does. This is what I like to practice on a daily basis. Personally I believe it will get you much closer to God than sitting in a building some construction workers built. But, that's just my personal viewpoint. Now, here's a new one for everyone. Have you ever heard of online church? It's the wave of the future, folks.
I must admit that online church sounds pretty much like the epitome of blasphemy. I mean this is rich. You've got to love how convenience is taking other our planet. The current mentality of the human race thrives on convenience. It's simply what we've become accustomed to. Virtually everything we encounter in our everyday lives has become more and more convenient in recent times. And it only continues as time moves forward. Just check out online banking, direct deposit, grocery stores that deliver to your door, ordering pizza online, shopping online, cell phones. These are all prime examples of what we've become. We're a bunch of fast-food munching, remote control holding convenience junkies who live for the new reality shows that come with the autumn leaves. Is this a progression for our species or a gargantuan leap back for mankind?
Would you take the time to attend an online church? Would this actually make you feel better about yourself as a person? I'm sure that the intention was to encourage folks like yourself to give religion a chance. Since our society spends so much of their free time surfing the web, what better way to capture their attention? Hey, if you can't bring the people to the church, bring the church to the people.
