Maybe you have never heard of Carter Grandle. You may say you have never had anything to do with anything or anyone involving Carter Grandle. But then again, you likely have, whether you were ever consciously aware of the fact or not.
You went on a road trip cross country, and stopped, of course, along the way. You visited tourist attractions, and studied historical sites, and took breaks at fast-food places and cantinas. In the south, you stopped for a nice sunset dinner, one you enjoyed on the veranda, where the air was cooling nicely, the sun was leaving red and orange trails across a romantic skyline, and the sounds and smells were soothing yet festive. You settled, rested, even reclined in the loveliest of patio furniture, soft and thick cushions decorated in a southwestern motif made you want to do more than restmaybe take a siesta before jumping back in the RV and trekking on. Those furniture pieces were Carter Grandle.
You were a wild kid who had to be shipped off to Grandmas every summer, lest you get into trouble without adult supervision. You are cared for, taken on shopping trips to the five-and-dime, encouraged to accompany Grandpa to the hardware store. You play on the loveseat swing while he fools with plumbing supplies. You surmise, once you are back at the house having a late afternoon lunch on the deck under a canvas umbrella, that the set-up at Grandma and Grandpas is similar to the layout at the hardware store. You spin the umbrella. Rock in the chairs. And are grateful when it is time for bed, though it is sooo early the sun has not yet set. The daybed is a couch, really, but is thick and cool and overlooking the deep, dank foliage of the back yard, and the sleep is comfortable. Those umbrellas and patio chairs were Carter Grandle. That thick cushioned couch ed was also Carter Grandle.
The teal and pastel motifs at your friends garden party, the aluminum and/or wicker frames at the recreation center, the retirement home lounge couches and matching chairsare all, likely, in many cases, Carter Grandle. They have been producing recreational and casual patio, porch, or outdoor furniture for twenty-six years: they opened their Sarasota, Florida facilities in 1988, and from there do walk-in customer service, mail-order service, and internet information and provisions.
Who is Carter Grandle? Either look around in your outside surroundings and you will find a piece of recreation and relaxation that will tell you, or visit their website, which features a most enjoyable virtual brochure, and you might just recognize what has been in your life all along.
